Description

This event tracks the price of Shiba Inu cryptocurrency at a specific future moment, dividing possible outcomes into narrow numerical ranges. Each range represents a distinct resolution condition based on the asset's value at the exact time and date specified.

Kalshi

The event resolves based on the simple average of the final 60 seconds of CF Benchmarks' Shiba Inu-Dollar Spot Rate (SHIBUSD_RTI) immediately preceding 5 PM EDT on October 15, 2026. Twenty-nine distinct price ranges are defined, each spanning 0.0000005 USD increments except the final range which captures all prices above 0.000014499. If the calculated average falls within any specified range at exactly 5 PM EDT, the corresponding market resolves to Yes; if it falls outside all defined ranges, all markets resolve to No. CF Benchmarks' Real Time Index (RTI) is the exclusive data source, with the official value determined by averaging 60 RTI price points collected during the final minute before expiration. Market participants should note that this methodology differs from consumer-facing platforms like Google or Coinbase.
