Description

In the upcoming European Pro League best-of-series match scheduled for 2026-08-12 10:40 UTC: if VP.Prodigy wins the series, the market will resolve to "VP.Prodigy"; if Passion Academy wins the series, the market will resolve to "Passion Academy". The series winner is the first team to win a majority of games. Individual games remade due to technical issues do not count as wins toward the series. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. In cases where a team's listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50. Resolution Source: HLTV (https://hltv.org); if HLTV has not published the result within 2 hours after the series' conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. Note: Opinion will resolve strictly based on the first officially published result from the designated source. Any subsequent revisions will not affect this resolution.

Frequently asked questions

Compared to analyst forecasts, this market’s odds reflect the collective wisdom of Opinion traders, who may weigh different factors such as recent performance or strategic advantages. While analysts offer expert opinions, the market price incorporates real-time betting activity, potentially highlighting gaps or consensus that aren’t captured in traditional forecasts. Traders often react faster to new information, causing shifts that can diverge from published predictions.

On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Opinion, traders manually set prices through buying and selling contracts, which determines the current implied probability. The top outcome’s price reflects the most recent trading activity and available information about team performance or conditions affecting the contest. As new data emerges, such as injuries or strategy changes, traders adjust their positions, shifting the odds dynamically.

This market resolves around Aug 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result is determined by the official contest conclusion, and the market settles based on that verified outcome. Traders will see the final result reflected automatically once the event is officially recorded and the data is publicly available.

Several signals could shift this market before resolution, including key player updates, strategic announcements, or changes in team form. Any publicly reported developments — such as injuries, coaching decisions, or performance trends — may cause traders to reassess probabilities. Media coverage and expert commentary leading up to Aug 12, 2026 can also influence market sentiment and drive volume as participants react to new information.
