This market will resolve to "Up" if the MU/USDT price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than the price at the beginning of that range. It will resolve to "Down" if the MU/USDT price at the end of the time range is lower than the price at the beginning of that range. If the two prices are exactly equal, the market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is Chainlink, specifically the MU/USDT data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/mu-usdt-markpriceindex-datalink?timeframe=1d&chart=candlestick To verify the final price, use the close price of the 5m candlestick just before the market's end time. For example, for a market running from 1:00 to 1:15 PM ET, use the close price of the 1:10 PM candlestick as the final price. The resolution source uses the index price (field i) from Binance's USDS-Margined Futures Mark Price Stream for All Markets (!markPrice@arr), denominated in the quote currency. This market is based solely on the price reported by the Chainlink MU/USDT data stream, not on other sources or futures markets. If Chainlink data is unavailable or otherwise unusable for resolution, the market will resolve based on a consensus of reliable sources. 2026-10-27T17:30:00Z

Currently, the collective wisdom of traders on Predict offers a distinct perspective compared to traditional analyst forecasts for Micron. While analysts often provide point estimates or ranges, this market aggregates diverse opinions into a probability-based forecast. Discrepancies can arise due to differing methodologies, access to information, and biases inherent in each approach. It’s common to see prediction markets react more quickly to new information, potentially offering a more dynamic and real-time assessment of future stock performance than standard analyst reports.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous exchange where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether the Micron stock will close higher or lower. The price of these contracts directly reflects the probability of that outcome, as determined by supply and demand. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe the stock will go up, the higher the price of 'up' contracts will climb, and vice versa. This creates a dynamic pricing mechanism that constantly adjusts to new information and changing sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the resolution will be based on whether the closing price of Micron Technology, Inc. stock on October 27th is higher or lower than its opening price. The final price will be sourced from a major financial exchange and used to determine which side of the market will pay out. Traders will be able to view the resolution details on Predict following the event.
Several factors could significantly impact this market before Oct 27, 2026. Key earnings reports from Micron, broader economic data releases (like inflation or interest rate announcements), and any major news related to the semiconductor industry could all shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements regarding supply chain disruptions, competitor performance, or changes in demand for memory chips would also be influential. Geopolitical events and overall market volatility can also play a role in how this market behaves, as investors react to perceived risks and opportunities.
