This market will resolve to "Up" if the META/USDT price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than the price at the beginning of that range. It will resolve to "Down" if the META/USDT price at the end of the time range is lower than the price at the beginning of that range. If the two prices are exactly equal, the market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is Chainlink, specifically the META/USDT data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/meta-usdt-markpriceindex-datalink?timeframe=1d&chart=candlestick To verify the final price, use the close price of the 5m candlestick just before the market's end time. For example, for a market running from 1:00 to 1:15 PM ET, use the close price of the 1:10 PM candlestick as the final price. The resolution source uses the index price (field i) from Binance's USDS-Margined Futures Mark Price Stream for All Markets (!markPrice@arr), denominated in the quote currency. This market is based solely on the price reported by the Chainlink META/USDT data stream, not on other sources or futures markets. If Chainlink data is unavailable or otherwise unusable for resolution, the market will resolve based on a consensus of reliable sources. 2026-10-27T17:30:00Z

Currently, analysts are divided on Meta’s near-term performance, with opinions ranging from cautious optimism to outright bearishness. Some anticipate a positive reaction to upcoming earnings reports, while others foresee continued headwinds from advertising revenue declines. This market offers a different perspective, aggregating the wisdom of the crowd to produce a probability-based forecast. Unlike traditional polls that rely on stated opinions, this market incentivizes accurate predictions through financial stakes, potentially offering a more insightful view than standard analyst consensus.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether Meta’s stock will close up or down on October 27th. The price of these contracts reflects the probability of that outcome, as determined by supply and demand. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe the stock will go up, the higher the price of ‘up’ contracts will climb, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures that the market odds constantly adjust to incorporate new information and changing sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the closing price of Meta Platforms, Inc. stock on October 27th will be used to determine whether the market settles in the ‘up’ or ‘down’ direction. A higher closing price than the opening price will result in a settlement in favor of the ‘up’ outcome, while a lower closing price will favor the ‘down’ outcome. The market will reflect the direction of the stock price change, not the absolute price itself.
Several key signals and events could significantly impact this market. Major catalysts include Meta’s upcoming earnings release, any significant news regarding regulatory scrutiny, and broader macroeconomic trends affecting the technology sector. Unexpected announcements about the company’s metaverse investments or changes in advertising policies could also cause substantial shifts in sentiment. Furthermore, overall market conditions and investor risk appetite will play a role in shaping the direction of the Meta stock market as we approach Oct 27, 2026.
