This market will resolve to "Up" if the META/USDT price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than the price at the beginning of that range. It will resolve to "Down" if the META/USDT price at the end of the time range is lower than the price at the beginning of that range. If the two prices are exactly equal, the market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is Chainlink, specifically the META/USDT data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/meta-usdt-markpriceindex-datalink?timeframe=1d&chart=candlestick To verify the final price, use the close price of the 5m candlestick just before the market's end time. For example, for a market running from 1:00 to 1:15 PM ET, use the close price of the 1:10 PM candlestick as the final price. The resolution source uses the index price (field i) from Binance's USDS-Margined Futures Mark Price Stream for All Markets (!markPrice@arr), denominated in the quote currency. This market is based solely on the price reported by the Chainlink META/USDT data stream, not on other sources or futures markets. If Chainlink data is unavailable or otherwise unusable for resolution, the market will resolve based on a consensus of reliable sources. 2026-10-19T18:45:00Z

Currently, the collective wisdom of traders on Predict offers a different perspective than traditional analyst forecasts for Meta. While many analysts offer price targets and ratings, this market reflects a probabilistic view of whether the stock will be higher or lower at a specific point in time. It’s common to see discrepancies between prediction market probabilities and analyst opinions, as each relies on different information and methodologies. This market distills diverse opinions into a single, quantifiable forecast.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether the Meta stock price will be up or down. The price of these contracts directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market efficiently incorporates new information as traders react to news and events, adjusting their positions and influencing the price. This dynamic process creates a real-time forecast based on the aggregated judgment of many participants.
This market resolves around Oct 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the resolution will be based on whether the Meta stock price at 2:45PM-3:00PM ET on October 19th is higher or lower than its price at the start of the trading day. The final price will be sourced from a major financial exchange and used to determine whether the 'Up' or 'Down' outcome is declared.
Several signals and events could significantly impact this market. Major news regarding Meta’s earnings, user growth, or new product launches would likely cause substantial price movement. Broader economic indicators, such as inflation reports or interest rate decisions, could also influence investor sentiment and, therefore, the market. Unexpected regulatory changes or significant developments in the competitive landscape—like actions by TikTok or Apple—could also shift the odds. Any substantial news related to Meta’s metaverse investments or AI initiatives could also be a key driver.
