This market will resolve to "Yes" if there have been the specified amount or more confirmed cases of Measles (Rubeola) in humans in the territory of the United States of America in 2026, according to the CDC case counter by August 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market will be the CDC Measles (Rubeola) counter 'Total Cases' in 2026 (see: https://www.cdc.gov/measles/data-research/index.html) at the resolution time. If the counter becomes unavailable, another credible source will be used. Note: Only cases reported by the CDC Measles (Rubeola) counter will qualify, regardless of reports from U.S. State agencies or other sources.

This market resolves around Sep 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Official health data releases from recognized agencies will settle the market, reflecting the actual number of reported measles cases in the U.S. by that date. No further interpretation is needed beyond the published figures.
Key signals include public health announcements, changes in vaccination campaigns, reported spikes in regional cases, or policy decisions affecting immune coverage. Media coverage of outbreaks and official updates from health departments can cause rapid shifts. Traders will also watch for any unexpected events—such as importations of the virus or changes in travel restrictions—that could alter the trajectory of this market before Sep 1, 2026.
