This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the lowest temperature recorded at the Incheon Intl Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 7 Jun '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the lowest temperature recorded for all times on this day for the Incheon Intl Airport Station, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/kr/incheon/RKSI. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, the lowest temperature in Seoul on June 7 is priced through outcome tokens representing discrete temperature ranges or exact thresholds. Each outcome has a bid-ask spread reflecting liquidity and uncertainty. Traders buy tokens for outcomes they believe will occur, driving prices upward; selling pressure lowers them. The price of each outcome token directly implies its probability. As June 7 approaches, prices converge toward resolution. Polymarket uses an automated market maker or order-book model to facilitate continuous pricing, allowing real-time discovery of the market's temperature expectations.
The market resolves on Jun 7, 2026, after the lowest temperature in Seoul on June 7 has been recorded and verified. Resolution hinges on official temperature data from Seoul's primary meteorological station or designated weather authority. The outcome is determined by the actual minimum temperature reading for that calendar day, typically measured in degrees Celsius. Once the official figure is published and confirmed, the market settles to the corresponding outcome token, and traders' positions are finalized based on whether their chosen outcome matched the recorded result.
Major weather pattern shifts, including monsoon onset timing, tropical cyclone formation, or high-pressure system positioning, can significantly alter Seoul's temperature outlook. Updated seasonal forecasts from meteorological agencies will influence trader positioning. Short-term weather model runs released in the days before June 7 carry high weight. Anomalous atmospheric conditions—such as unexpected cold fronts or heat waves—will trigger rapid repricing. Historical temperature records for early June in Seoul also anchor expectations. As the event date nears, real-time observations and intra-day forecasts become primary drivers of market movement.
