This market refers to the LoL Quarterfinal 3 match between Movistar KOI Fénix and TLN Pirates in the EMEA Masters Playoffs, initially scheduled for October 9, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET. This market will resolve to "Movistar KOI Fénix" if Movistar KOI Fénix win the match against TLN Pirates. This market will resolve to "TLN Pirates" if TLN Pirates win the match against Movistar KOI Fénix. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before October 23, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 9, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Currently, it's difficult to directly compare prediction market odds to analyst forecasts for this event. However, generally, prediction markets often incorporate a wider range of information and perspectives than traditional polls or expert opinions. This can lead to differences in probabilities, as prediction markets reflect the collective wisdom of traders willing to put their money behind their beliefs. If analysts widely favor one team, we might see the odds on Predict shift accordingly, but the market can also reveal disagreement or uncertainty not captured in simple forecasts.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous exchange where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. The price of a contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders are constantly adjusting their positions based on new information, leading to dynamic odds. The more traders believe an outcome is likely, the higher the price of its contract will rise, and vice versa. This creates a real-time assessment of probabilities.
This market resolves around Oct 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the result of the best-of-five series between Movistar KOI Fénix and TLN Pirates in the EMEA Masters Playoffs will determine the winning outcome. The platform will verify the official results published by the event organizers to determine the final settlement of this market. Traders will then receive payouts based on their positions and the final result.
Several factors could influence the odds on this market before resolution. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or potential roster changes for either Movistar KOI Fénix or TLN Pirates could significantly shift trader sentiment. Unexpected results in other matches within the EMEA Masters Playoffs could also impact perceptions of team strength. Finally, in-game performance during the series itself – such as early game dominance or strategic adaptations – will likely cause rapid adjustments to the odds on Predict as the matches unfold.
