This market refers to the LoL Quarterfinal 3 match between Gen.G and LYON in the Worlds Playoffs, initially scheduled for November 5, 2026 at 5:00 PM ET. This market will resolve to "Gen.G" if Gen.G win the match against LYON. This market will resolve to "LYON" if LYON win the match against Gen.G. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before November 19, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of November 5, 2026 at 5:00 PM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Generally, prediction market odds often diverge from initial analyst forecasts, as they reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders. While analysts may offer pre-event predictions based on team statistics and player skill, this market incorporates real-time information and evolving sentiment. If analysts initially favored one team, but traders begin betting on the other, the odds will adjust accordingly. This dynamic process can lead to more accurate predictions than relying solely on pre-event analysis, as the market continuously updates its assessment of the likely outcome.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous exchange where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. As more people buy contracts for a specific outcome, its price increases, and the implied probability rises. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This means that the odds are not fixed but rather fluctuate based on the collective actions of all participants, creating a dynamic and informative view of expectations for the Gen.G versus LYON matchup.
This market resolves around Nov 5, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the BO5 series between Gen.G and LYON in the Worlds Playoffs. The team that wins the majority of the five games will be declared the winner, and that outcome will determine the settlement of this market. Traders should monitor official League of Legends esports channels for the final results and confirmation of the winning team.
Several signals or events could significantly move this market before resolution. Unexpected news regarding player health or form for either Gen.G or LYON would likely cause shifts in the odds. In-game performance during the series itself, such as a dominant early game by one team, could also trigger rapid adjustments. Major strategic announcements or changes in team compositions could also influence trader sentiment. Furthermore, any significant public statements from analysts or prominent figures in the League of Legends community could impact trading activity and, consequently, the market’s price.
