This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between Weibo Gaming and EDward Gaming in the King Pro League Grand Finals Group Stage, initially scheduled for October 7, 2026 at 5:00 AM ET. This market will resolve to "Weibo Gaming" if Weibo Gaming win the match against EDward Gaming. This market will resolve to "EDward Gaming" if EDward Gaming win the match against Weibo Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before October 21, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 7, 2026 at 5:00 AM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Currently, it’s difficult to directly compare prediction market odds to analyst forecasts for this event. While analysts often provide predictions before the King Pro League playoffs, these are typically qualitative assessments of team strength and potential performance. This market, however, represents a quantifiable, aggregated forecast from a diverse group of traders. If analysts consistently overestimate or underestimate the likelihood of certain outcomes compared to this market’s pricing, it could indicate a systematic bias in their evaluations.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous exchange where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief in the likelihood of a particular outcome. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective wisdom of the crowd. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This means that if many traders believe Weibo Gaming is likely to win, the price of contracts predicting their victory will increase, and vice versa. The current price reflects the probability that traders assign to each team winning the BO5 series.
This market resolves around Oct 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official results of the Weibo Gaming vs EDward Gaming BO5 match in the King Pro League Grand Finals Group Stage. The team declared the winner by the official tournament organizers will determine the winning outcome for this market. Any disputes regarding the official results will be addressed through established procedures.
Several factors could significantly influence this market before the match concludes. Unexpected announcements regarding player health or team strategies could shift trader sentiment. In-game performance during the series itself, such as a dominant early game by one team, will likely cause rapid price adjustments. News coverage and social media discussions surrounding team form and potential matchups could also play a role. Any significant development related to either Weibo Gaming or EDward Gaming has the potential to move this market.
