This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between Weibo Gaming and Douyu Gaming in the King Pro League Grand Finals Group Stage, initially scheduled for October 12, 2026 at 8:00 AM ET. This market will resolve to "Weibo Gaming" if Weibo Gaming win the match against Douyu Gaming. This market will resolve to "Douyu Gaming" if Douyu Gaming win the match against Weibo Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before October 26, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 12, 2026 at 8:00 AM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Currently, it's difficult to directly compare prediction market odds to analyst forecasts for this event, as comprehensive analyst predictions are not readily available. However, this market reflects the collective wisdom of traders, who weigh various factors like team performance, player skill, and recent match results. If analyst predictions were to emerge, a comparison could reveal whether the market is aligned with expert opinion or anticipates a different outcome. It’s important to remember that prediction markets often incorporate information faster than traditional forecasts.
On Predict, this market is priced through a simple supply and demand mechanism. Traders buy and sell contracts representing the likelihood of a specific outcome, and the price adjusts based on their actions. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe an outcome is likely, the higher the price of contracts representing that outcome will rise. Conversely, if traders believe an outcome is unlikely, the price will fall. This creates a dynamic pricing system that reflects the collective intelligence of the crowd, offering a unique perspective on the potential results of the King Pro League playoffs.
This market resolves around Oct 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official results of the Weibo Gaming versus Douyu Gaming match in the King Pro League Grand Finals Group Stage. The winning team, as declared by the tournament organizers, will determine the settlement of this market. No further details regarding the specific resolution process are available at this time.
Several signals could significantly impact this market before resolution. Any news regarding player injuries or changes in team lineups for either Weibo Gaming or Douyu Gaming would likely cause price fluctuations. Major upsets in other matches within the King Pro League playoffs could also shift perceptions of team strength and influence trading activity. Furthermore, any strategic announcements or in-game performance analysis released by esports commentators or analysts might sway traders’ opinions and move the market. Keep an eye on these factors as Oct 12, 2026 approaches.
