This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between JD Gaming and EDward Gaming in the King Pro League Grand Finals Group Stage, initially scheduled for October 3, 2026 at 5:00 AM ET. This market will resolve to "JD Gaming" if JD Gaming win the match against EDward Gaming. This market will resolve to "EDward Gaming" if EDward Gaming win the match against JD Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before October 17, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 3, 2026 at 5:00 AM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Currently, it's difficult to directly compare prediction market odds to analyst forecasts for this event. However, generally, prediction markets often aggregate information from a wider range of sources than traditional analyst predictions. This can lead to differences in probabilities, as this market reflects the collective wisdom of many participants, rather than the opinion of a single expert or a small group. It’s important to remember that analyst predictions are often based on subjective assessments, while this market is driven by actual financial commitments.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe an outcome is likely, the higher the price of its corresponding contract will rise. Conversely, if traders believe an outcome is unlikely, the price will fall. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust probabilities accordingly.
This market resolves around Oct 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the winner of the King Pro League Grand Finals is verified against credible public reporting of the official match results. The resolution will be based on the final result of the best-of-five series between JD Gaming and EDward Gaming. The platform will then determine the winning contract based on which team ultimately prevails in the competition, and payouts will be distributed accordingly to those who correctly predicted the outcome.
Several signals or events could significantly move this market. Any news regarding player form, potential roster changes for either JD Gaming or EDward Gaming, or strategic shifts revealed during earlier matches in the tournament could influence trading activity. Unexpected upsets in other matches leading up to the Grand Finals could also shift perceptions of team strength. Furthermore, any in-game developments during the series itself – such as a dominant performance by a particular player or a surprising team composition – could cause rapid price adjustments in this market.
