This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between JD Gaming and Douyu Gaming in the King Pro League Grand Finals Group Stage, initially scheduled for October 9, 2026 at 8:00 AM ET. This market will resolve to "JD Gaming" if JD Gaming win the match against Douyu Gaming. This market will resolve to "Douyu Gaming" if Douyu Gaming win the match against JD Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before October 23, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 9, 2026 at 8:00 AM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Currently, it’s difficult to directly compare the prediction market odds to analyst forecasts for this event. However, generally, prediction markets often aggregate information more efficiently than individual analyst predictions. If analysts widely favor one team, we might expect to see that reflected in higher demand for that outcome on Predict. Discrepancies between market odds and analyst opinions can present potential opportunities for informed traders, but it's important to consider all available information before making a decision.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the collective belief of the traders about the probability of that outcome occurring. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe an outcome is likely, the higher the price of its corresponding contract will rise, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures that the odds reflect the latest information and market sentiment leading up to the match.
This market resolves around Oct 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the King Pro League Grand Finals BO5 match between JD Gaming and Douyu Gaming. The winning team, as declared by the tournament organizers, will determine the outcome of this market. Any disputes or challenges to the official result will be considered during the resolution process.
Several signals could significantly move this market. Unexpected news regarding player health or team composition for either JD Gaming or Douyu Gaming would likely cause shifts in the odds. In-game performance during the early stages of the series, such as a dominant first game win by one team, could also trigger substantial changes. Finally, any major strategic announcements or changes in gameplay from either team leading up to or during the event could influence trader sentiment and impact the price of contracts on Predict.
