This market resolves around Jun 30, 2026, once June 30 has passed and the highest temperature recorded in Toronto for that day is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by comparing the actual maximum temperature to the 39°C threshold. Resolution typically occurs within hours of market close, once official temperature data is published and confirmed.

Several factors could shift odds in this market before Jun 30, 2026. Updated seasonal forecasts from meteorological agencies showing warming or cooling trends will influence trader positioning. Broader climate patterns, such as heat domes or high-pressure systems moving into Ontario, could trigger significant repricing. Historical temperature records for late June in Toronto provide a baseline; any new climate data or model consensus shifts will be reflected quickly. Real-time weather updates in early June may also prompt traders to adjust their bets as the event date approaches and forecasts become more precise.
