Opinion
In the upcoming Worlds best-of-series match scheduled for 2026-10-23 18:10 UTC: if Top Esports wins the series, the market will resolve to "Top Esports"; if Hanwha Life Esports wins the series, the market will resolve to "Hanwha Life Esports". The series winner is the first team to win a majority of games. Individual games remade due to technical issues do not count as wins toward the series. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. In cases where a team's listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50. Resolution Source: official Worlds broadcast and https://lolesports.com. Note: Opinion will resolve this market strictly based on the first final result officially published or announced by a designated resolution source. Any subsequent revision, correction, or reversal will not affect the resolution.

Currently, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than many analyst forecasts for this event. While analysts often favor one team, the market reflects the collective wisdom of traders, potentially incorporating factors not immediately apparent in traditional analysis. Discrepancies between expert opinions and the market can highlight overlooked variables or differing interpretations of team strengths. It’s important to remember that analysts provide predictions based on their expertise, while this market represents a continuously updated assessment of probabilities based on real-money wagering.
On Opinion, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective belief of market participants. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to rapidly incorporate new information and adjust probabilities accordingly. Traders are incentivized to set accurate prices, as profitable trades depend on correctly anticipating the outcome of the League of Legends match.
This market resolves around Oct 23, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the Hanwha Life Esports versus Top Esports match, as reported by the League of Legends tournament organizers. Several signals could significantly influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding player injuries or changes in team lineups would likely cause price fluctuations. Major strategic announcements from either team, or shifts in the perceived meta of the game, could also impact trading activity. Unexpected results in other matches leading up to this event might also shift expectations. Ultimately, any information that alters the perceived probability of either team winning has the potential to move this market.
