Opinion
In the upcoming Worlds best-of-series match scheduled for 2026-10-30 23:10 UTC: if G2 Esports wins the series, the market will resolve to "G2 Esports"; if Hanwha Life Esports wins the series, the market will resolve to "Hanwha Life Esports". The series winner is the first team to win a majority of games. Individual games remade due to technical issues do not count as wins toward the series. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. In cases where a team's listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50. Resolution Source: official Worlds broadcast and https://lolesports.com. Note: Opinion will resolve this market strictly based on the first final result officially published or announced by a designated resolution source. Any subsequent revision, correction, or reversal will not affect the resolution.

Currently, prediction market odds offer a distinct perspective compared to typical analyst forecasts. While many analysts favor one team, this market reflects the collective wisdom of traders on Opinion. It’s common to see discrepancies, as prediction markets incorporate a wider range of information and incentives than traditional analysis. This difference can be valuable, as the market often adjusts rapidly to new information and changing perceptions about the likely winner. Examining these differences can highlight potential biases or overlooked factors in either approach.
On Opinion, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing the different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe an outcome is likely, the higher the price of its corresponding contract will rise. This creates a dynamic system where the odds constantly adjust based on supply and demand, offering a real-time assessment of the potential for either Hanwha Life Esports or G2 Esports to win.
This market resolves around Oct 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the League of Legends match between Hanwha Life Esports and G2 Esports, as declared by the tournament organizers. The winning team, as determined by the official match results, will be the outcome used to settle this market. Traders who correctly predicted the winner will receive a payout based on the odds at the time of their trade.
Several signals or events could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or unexpected roster changes for either Hanwha Life Esports or G2 Esports could shift the odds. Major upsets in other matches leading up to this event could also influence trader sentiment. Furthermore, in-game performance during the match itself, such as early game advantages or key player plays, could trigger rapid adjustments in the market. Unexpected announcements related to the tournament or the teams involved are also potential catalysts for price movement.
