Opinion
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official "Close" price for Google (GOOGL) on the trading day specified in the title is strictly higher than the price specified in the title. A "Close" exactly equal to the specified price resolves to "No". If the market is not open on the specified day (exchange holiday or unscheduled closure), or Google (GOOGL) does not trade at all during that day's regular session, this market resolves 50-50 — each side is paid at half value; this is not a refund. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting Google (GOOGL), this market resolves on split-adjusted prices, and the price specified in the title is adjusted proportionally. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Google (GOOGL) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/GOOGL/ under "Historical Prices". If that data is unavailable due to an outage or other technical disruption, the official price published by the primary exchange on which Google (GOOGL) trades governs.

On Opinion, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about the future Google stock price. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective wisdom of the crowd. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe the stock will be above the target price, the higher the contract price will rise, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures that the market odds are constantly updated to reflect the latest information and sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official closing stock price of Google (GOOGL) on that date. This market will determine whether the stock price is above or below a predetermined level, as defined within the market details on Opinion. Traders will then be paid out or have their funds returned based on whether their prediction aligned with the verified outcome.
Several factors could significantly impact this market before Oct 19, 2026. Major company announcements from Google, such as earnings reports or new product launches, would likely cause price fluctuations. Broader economic indicators, like interest rate changes or shifts in the overall stock market, could also influence trader sentiment. Unexpected news events, such as regulatory changes or significant technological breakthroughs in the tech sector, could also move this market. Any information that alters the perceived future prospects of Google could lead to shifts in trading activity and, consequently, the market odds.
