Opinion
In the upcoming Worlds best-of-series match scheduled for 2026-10-23 21:10 UTC: if Dplus KIA wins the series, the market will resolve to "Dplus KIA"; if G2 Esports wins the series, the market will resolve to "G2 Esports". The series winner is the first team to win a majority of games. Individual games remade due to technical issues do not count as wins toward the series. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. In cases where a team's listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50. Resolution Source: official Worlds broadcast and https://lolesports.com. Note: Opinion will resolve this market strictly based on the first final result officially published or announced by a designated resolution source. Any subsequent revision, correction, or reversal will not affect the resolution.

Currently, prediction market odds often reflect a different perspective than traditional analyst forecasts. While analysts may favor one team based on pre-tournament rankings and individual player skill, this market incorporates a broader range of factors, including real-time information and the wisdom of the crowd. Discrepancies can arise from differing interpretations of team form, strategic adjustments, and even intangible elements like team morale. It's common to see prediction markets adjust rapidly to new data, potentially outperforming static analyst predictions.
On Opinion, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the collective belief of the traders regarding the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the prices converge towards a fair value based on available information. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Price fluctuations are driven by new information, shifts in sentiment, and strategic trading activity, creating a dynamic and responsive pricing mechanism for this event.
This market resolves around Oct 23, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the G2 Esports versus Dplus KIA match within the League of Legends Worlds tournament. The platform will verify the results against publicly available and trusted sources to determine the winning outcome. Traders holding contracts corresponding to the correct outcome will be paid out according to the final market prices at resolution.
Several signals could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding player injuries or unexpected roster changes for either G2 Esports or Dplus KIA would likely cause price movement. In-game performance during the tournament leading up to the match, including strategic drafts and individual player form, will also be closely watched. Major upsets in other matches could shift overall perceptions of team strength and influence trading activity. Finally, any significant announcements regarding the tournament schedule or format could introduce volatility into this market.
