On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell contracts representing different Ethereum price ranges. The price of each contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. As more traders buy contracts for a particular price range, the price increases, indicating a higher perceived probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's liquidity and trading volume influence how quickly and efficiently prices adjust to new information. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the collective intelligence of participants regarding Ethereum’s future value.
This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact price used for resolution will be determined by Polymarket’s methodology, which is publicly available. Traders will then be paid out based on whether their chosen outcome aligns with the verified price at the time of resolution.
