This event determines the price range of Ethereum on a specific date and time by analyzing real-time index data. The outcome depends on where the averaged price falls within predefined brackets, offering a granular view of potential market behavior at that moment.
The event resolves based on the simple average of the sixty seconds of CF Benchmarks' Ethereum Real-Time Index (ERTI) immediately before 5 PM EDT on October 3, 2026. If this average falls within any of the specified price ranges—from $1,989.99 or below up to $3,510 or above—the corresponding market resolves to Yes. All markets share the same secondary rule, emphasizing that the official price is derived exclusively from CF Benchmarks' ERTI, not from other sources like Google or Coinbase. At expiration, sixty ERTI prices are collected in the final minute, averaged, and compared against the defined brackets to determine the resolving outcome. Each bracket represents a distinct price band, ensuring a clear and objective resolution process.
