This event determines the price range of Ethereum on a specific date and time by analyzing real-time index data. The outcome depends on where the averaged price falls within predefined brackets, offering a snapshot of market valuation at that exact moment.

Kalshi

The event resolves based on the simple average of the sixty seconds of CF Benchmarks' Ethereum Real-Time Index (ERTI) immediately before 5 PM EDT on October 18, 2026. If the average price falls within any of the specified ranges—from $1,639.99 or below up to $3,160 or above—the corresponding market resolves to Yes. Each range is defined by precise brackets, ensuring mutually exclusive outcomes. All prices are determined using CF Benchmarks' ERTI, with the official value calculated as the average of 60 data points collected in the final minute before expiration. This methodology standardizes price verification and ensures consistency across all outcomes, despite variations in other public price sources.
