This market will resolve to “Yes” if Enflame's market capitalization at the closing price on its first day of trading is greater than or equal to the listed value. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. If no such IPO occurs by December 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, the market will resolve to "No”. Market capitalization expresses the monetary value of a company’s outstanding shares, stated in its pricing currency. It is calculated as the total number of outstanding shares, multiplied by the official closing share price of the publicly traded class on the first trading day. If necessary, to accurately capture the company’s total market capitalization, rather than a stock-class-specific market capitalization, the calculation will include all outstanding share classes and apply any stated conversion ratios to the publicly traded class. Where no conversion right exists, such shares will be counted at their stated outstanding amount without discount, unless official filings explicitly specify differently. The number of outstanding shares will be determined from official company filings or disclosures (e.g., SEC filings). The closing share price on the first trading day will be determined from the primary exchange’s official listing page. The primary resolution source for this market will be official company filings and the primary exchange’s official listing page. The market capitalization will be determined through appropriate calculation using the total outstanding shares and the closing price from the first day of trading. In the event of an interruption in the normal trading session on the specified company’s first day of trading (e.g., a circuit breaker or half-day), the market will resolve according to the official closing price of the abbreviated session. If no such official closing price is published, the market will resolve according to the next trading day on which an official closing price is published, treating that day as the first day of trading for the purposes of this market.

Currently, it's important to remember that this market represents the collective prediction of traders on Predict. Comparing these odds to external analyst forecasts reveals how the wisdom of the crowd differs from expert opinions. If analysts generally predict Enflame’s IPO will fall below a certain value, but this market shows a higher probability of it exceeding that value, it suggests traders believe factors not fully captured by traditional analysis are at play. This divergence can highlight potential blind spots in conventional forecasting methods, offering a unique perspective on the IPO’s potential success.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about the outcome. The price of these contracts directly reflects the implied probability of Enflame’s IPO closing market cap being above the specified level. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information emerges, the price adjusts to reflect the evolving consensus. The current price indicates what traders are willing to pay for exposure to this outcome, providing a dynamic assessment of the IPO’s prospects.
This market resolves around Jan 1, 2028, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the final closing market capitalization of Enflame’s initial public offering, as reported by established financial news sources. The market will determine whether the closing market cap is above or below the threshold specified in the market question. Traders will then be paid out based on their positions and the verified outcome, reflecting the accuracy of their predictions.
Several factors could significantly impact this market leading up to Jan 1, 2028. Key catalysts include any news regarding Enflame’s financial performance, changes in overall market conditions affecting IPOs, and competitor activity within their industry. Positive earnings reports or a favorable IPO market climate would likely drive the odds higher, while negative news or a market downturn could push them lower. Analyst upgrades or downgrades, as well as significant investor interest, could also influence trading activity and shift the market’s implied probability.
