This market refers to the Dota 2 Lower Bracket Final match between Rostik Team and Cake Team in the BetBoom Streamers Battle Playoffs, initially scheduled for October 3, 2026 at 5:00 AM ET. This market will resolve to "Rostik Team" if Rostik Team win the match against Cake Team. This market will resolve to "Cake Team" if Cake Team win the match against Rostik Team. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before October 17, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 3, 2026 at 5:00 AM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://www.dotabuff.com. However, if https://www.dotabuff.com has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Currently, prediction market odds often offer a different perspective than traditional analyst forecasts. While analysts may rely on team rankings and player statistics, this market reflects the collective wisdom of traders who are actively putting their money behind their beliefs. If analysts widely favor one team, but the market odds are more uncertain, it suggests the crowd perceives hidden factors or potential upsets. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information access, biases, or simply varying interpretations of available data. It's valuable to consider both viewpoints when forming your own prediction.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing each possible outcome. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, with higher prices indicating greater perceived probability. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders are constantly adjusting their positions based on new information and their own assessments of the teams' strengths and weaknesses. This dynamic pricing mechanism creates a probabilistic forecast that reflects the collective intelligence of the crowd. The current implied probabilities are shaped by the latest trades and overall market activity.
This market resolves around Oct 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the Dota 2 BetBoom Battle playoffs match between Rostik Team and Cake Team. The team that wins the best-of-three series will be declared the winner of this market. The platform will verify the result against official tournament organizers and publicly available match data to ensure accuracy and transparency. No further information regarding settlement is available.
Several factors could significantly influence this market before the match concludes. Any news regarding player form, potential roster changes, or strategic shifts within either team could cause the odds to shift. Unexpected announcements about team practice schedules or internal conflicts could also impact trader sentiment. In-game performance during the series itself will be a major driver of price movement, with each game's outcome directly affecting the perceived probability of each team winning the overall match. Keep an eye on social media and esports news for any developments that might influence this market.
