This market refers to the Dota 2 Upper Bracket Quarterfinals match between GamerLegion and CyberHero in the EPL Masters Playoffs, initially scheduled for November 2, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET. This market will resolve to "GamerLegion" if GamerLegion win the match against CyberHero. This market will resolve to "CyberHero" if CyberHero win the match against GamerLegion. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before November 16, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of November 2, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://www.dotabuff.com. However, if https://www.dotabuff.com has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Currently, prediction market odds often reflect a different perspective than traditional analyst forecasts. While analysts may lean on team rankings or player statistics, this market aggregates the wisdom of the crowd, incorporating a wider range of information and potential upsets. Discrepancies can arise from factors not easily quantifiable, such as team morale or individual player form. It’s common to see this market adjust rapidly to news or events that analysts haven’t fully incorporated into their predictions.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing the probability of different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the collective belief of the traders on Predict about the likelihood of that outcome occurring. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe an outcome is likely, the higher the price of its corresponding contract will rise, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures the market odds constantly adapt to new information and changing sentiment.
This market resolves around Nov 2, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the best-of-three series between GamerLegion and CyberHero in the EPL Masters Playoffs. The team that wins the series will be declared the winner of this market. Any potential disputes will be evaluated against publicly available match records and tournament rules.
Several signals could significantly move this market before it resolves. Any news regarding player health, such as injuries or illness affecting key players on either GamerLegion or CyberHero, would likely cause a shift in the odds. Major strategic announcements from either team, like changes to their draft or playstyle, could also impact the market. Unexpected results in other matches within the EPL Masters Playoffs could also influence perceptions of team strength and affect trading activity in this market.
