Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket, the dashboard for the Dancing With The Stars eliminations tracks the probabilities of different contestants being eliminated each week. It displays the current odds, allowing traders to see which dancers are favored to leave and which are expected to survive. The dashboard provides a real-time view of how the prediction market is assessing the likelihood of each elimination outcome, offering insight into collective expectations.

Currently, prediction market odds often reflect a different perspective than those of traditional analysts. While analysts may focus on dance technique or judges’ comments, this market incorporates a broader range of information, including social media sentiment and fan voting patterns. Discrepancies can arise when the market anticipates surprises that analysts haven’t considered, or vice versa. It’s common to see the market adjust rapidly to new information, potentially diverging from initial expert predictions, and providing a unique perspective on the potential eliminations.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their beliefs about the outcome of the Dancing With The Stars eliminations. The price of each share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe a particular contestant will be eliminated, the higher the price of shares representing that outcome will climb. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the collective wisdom of participants.

This market resolves around Nov 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the official elimination results from Dancing With The Stars are verifiable from credible public reporting. The market will settle to reflect which contestant(s) were eliminated during Week 8 of the competition, as announced by the show's producers. Resolution will be based on the official results broadcast on the show and confirmed through reliable news sources, ensuring an objective determination of the market’s outcome.

Several factors could significantly shift the probabilities within this market. Unexpected injuries to contestants, controversial judging decisions, or shifts in public opinion driven by social media campaigns could all lead to substantial price movements. Performances during the live show will be a major catalyst, with strong or weak routines directly impacting perceived elimination risk. Any news regarding contestant personal lives or potential behind-the-scenes drama could also influence trading activity and alter the odds for the Dancing With The Stars eliminations.
