This market refers to the Counter-Strike Round 1 match between Vitality and 9z in the PGL Masters Bucharest Group Stage, initially scheduled for October 24, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET. This market will resolve to "Vitality" if Vitality win the match against 9z. This market will resolve to "9z" if 9z win the match against Vitality. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before November 7, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 24, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Generally, prediction market odds often diverge from initial analyst forecasts, as markets aggregate information from a wider range of sources and adapt more quickly to new developments. While analysts may offer pre-match predictions based on team statistics and recent performance, this market reflects the wisdom of the crowd, incorporating factors that analysts might overlook. It's common to see the probabilities offered by this market shift as more information becomes available, potentially offering a more accurate assessment of the likely outcome than static pre-match predictions.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, ultimately determining the implied probability of each outcome. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe an outcome is likely, the higher the price of its corresponding contract will rise, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the collective intelligence of all participants, providing a real-time assessment of the event's potential results.
This market resolves around Oct 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the best-of-three series between Vitality and 9z as determined by the tournament organizers. The team declared the winner by the official tournament results will be considered the winning outcome for this market. Any potential disputes or challenges to the official result will be evaluated based on publicly available information and rulings from the relevant governing bodies.
Several factors could influence the price movement of this market before resolution. Unexpected news regarding player health or form, such as a key player being ruled out due to injury, could significantly shift the probabilities. In-game performance during the series itself, even in the early rounds, will likely cause rapid adjustments to the market as traders react to the unfolding events. Major strategic shifts announced by either team, or any controversies surrounding the match, could also contribute to price volatility in this market.
