This market refers to the Counter-Strike Round of 16 match between Team Nemesis and Sinners in the 1win Private Club #2: Closed Qualifier Playoffs, initially scheduled for October 8, 2026 at 8:00 AM ET. This market will resolve to "Team Nemesis" if Team Nemesis win the match against Sinners. This market will resolve to "Sinners" if Sinners win the match against Team Nemesis. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before October 22, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 8, 2026 at 8:00 AM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Currently, prediction market odds often reflect a different perspective than traditional analyst forecasts. While analysts may rely on team rankings, player statistics, and recent performance, this market aggregates the wisdom of the crowd, incorporating a wider range of information and subjective factors. If analysts widely favor one team, but the market odds are more uncertain, it suggests traders believe there’s a higher chance of an upset or a closer match than anticipated. This difference in outlook can create opportunities for informed traders.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe an outcome is likely, the higher the price of the corresponding contract will rise. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds constantly adjust to incorporate new information and changing sentiment regarding the CS2 Nemesis vs Sinners match.
This market resolves around Oct 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the result of the best-of-three series between Team Nemesis and Sinners is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official match results published by the tournament organizers, determining which team emerged victorious in the 1win Private Club #2: Closed Qualifier Playoffs. The final score and match details will be used to determine the winning outcome in this market.
Several factors could significantly influence this market before the match concludes. Unexpected news regarding player availability, such as injuries or visa issues, would likely cause substantial shifts in the odds. In-game performance during the first map, and any strategic adjustments made by either team, could also trigger rapid price movements. Major upsets in other qualifying matches, or changes in map veto strategies, could also impact trader sentiment and drive changes in the probabilities reflected in this market for the CS2 Nemesis vs Sinners match.
