Description

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Round of 16 match between Nuclear TigeRES and Color in the 1win Private Club #2: Closed Qualifier Playoffs, initially scheduled for October 8, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET. This market will resolve to "Nuclear TigeRES" if Nuclear TigeRES win the match against Color. This market will resolve to "Color" if Color win the match against Nuclear TigeRES. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before October 22, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 8, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Frequently asked questions

On Predict, the dashboard for the Counter-Strike match market tracks the evolving probabilities of different outcomes, displaying the current odds and price history. You can also view the 24-hour trading volume, which currently stands at $7,748, and the total volume traded to date, reaching $7,751. This provides a real-time overview of how traders are assessing the likelihood of each team winning in this best-of-three series. The dashboard is designed to give a clear picture of market sentiment and activity surrounding this specific Counter-Strike competition.

Currently, it's difficult to directly compare the odds available on Predict with external analyst forecasts. However, a common observation is that prediction markets often incorporate information faster than traditional polls or expert opinions. This is because traders have a financial incentive to accurately assess the probabilities, leading to a potentially more efficient reflection of available information. If analysts are predicting a clear favorite, we might expect to see a corresponding higher probability assigned to that outcome in this market, but discrepancies can occur due to differing methodologies or information access.

On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the collective belief of the traders regarding the probability of that outcome occurring. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe a particular outcome is likely, the higher the price of its corresponding contract will rise. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds constantly adapt to new information and changing sentiment surrounding the Counter-Strike match.

This market resolves around Oct 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the best-of-three Counter-Strike series between Counter-Strike: Nuclear TigeRES and Color in the 1win Private Club #2: Closed Qualifier Playoffs. The winning team, as determined by the official tournament organizers, will dictate the settlement of this market. Any disputes regarding the official result will be addressed using publicly available information from the tournament.

Several factors could significantly influence this market before resolution. Unexpected news regarding player form, such as injuries or illness affecting key players on either team, could shift the odds. Major strategic announcements from either organization, or even in-game tactical shifts observed during the early stages of the series, could also impact trader sentiment. Finally, any updates regarding the tournament schedule or venue could introduce uncertainty and volatility into this market, prompting traders to reassess their positions based on the evolving circumstances surrounding the Counter-Strike competition.
