This market refers to the Counter-Strike Opening match between NIP and Betclic Apogee Esports in the Stake Pulse Beat III Group A, initially scheduled for October 12, 2026 at 6:00 AM ET. This market will resolve to "NIP" if NIP win the match against Betclic Apogee Esports. This market will resolve to "Betclic Apogee Esports" if Betclic Apogee Esports win the match against NIP. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before October 26, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 12, 2026 at 6:00 AM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Currently, there aren’t widely available, direct analyst forecasts for this specific Counter-Strike match. However, prediction markets often incorporate a wider range of information and perspectives than traditional polls or individual expert opinions. This market reflects the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to accurately assess the probabilities. When compared to pre-match polls, this market can sometimes offer a more nuanced and accurate prediction, as it’s driven by financial stakes rather than stated opinions.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction process where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe an outcome is likely, the higher the price of its corresponding contract will rise. Conversely, if traders believe an outcome is unlikely, the price will fall. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures the market odds reflect the latest information and collective intelligence.
This market resolves around Oct 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the best-of-three Counter-Strike match between NIP and Betclic Apogee Esports as reported by the tournament organizer. The team that wins the majority of the games in the series will be declared the winner, and that outcome will determine the settlement of this market.
Several factors could influence the odds of this market. Unexpected news regarding player form, such as a key player being benched or experiencing illness, could significantly shift the probabilities. In-game performance during the early rounds of the series, if available, will also heavily impact trading activity. Major strategic announcements from either team, or even significant changes in map pools, could also cause movement. Finally, general shifts in public sentiment, even without concrete news, can sometimes influence trading behavior and move this market.
