Description

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Round of 16 match between Acend and Sashi Esport in the 1win Private Club #2: Closed Qualifier Playoffs, initially scheduled for October 7, 2026 at 8:00 AM ET. This market will resolve to "Acend" if Acend win the match against Sashi Esport. This market will resolve to "Sashi Esport" if Sashi Esport win the match against Acend. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before October 21, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 7, 2026 at 8:00 AM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Currently, it's difficult to directly compare the odds on this market to external analyst forecasts. However, generally, prediction markets often incorporate information faster than traditional analysis, potentially leading to different probabilities. If analysts widely predict a dominant win for one team, we might see a corresponding shift in the odds here, but this market reflects the collective wisdom of traders, which may weigh factors that analysts overlook. It's important to remember that prediction markets represent probabilities of outcomes, not necessarily who 'should' win.

On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the perceived probability of that outcome occurring. Traders set the odds based on their own research, analysis, and expectations. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing mechanism means the odds can change rapidly as new information becomes available or as more traders participate in the market. The current volume suggests moderate interest in this particular match.

This market resolves around Oct 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Counter-Strike match between Acend and Sashi Esport, as reported by the tournament organizers of the 1win Private Club #2: Closed Qualifier Playoffs. The outcome will be determined by which team wins the best-of-three series, or by the map handicap if that is the market being resolved.

Several signals could significantly influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or unexpected roster changes for either Acend or Sashi Esport could shift the odds. Major upsets in other matches within the tournament could also impact perceptions of team strength. Furthermore, in-game events during the series itself, such as early map wins or dominant individual performances, will likely cause rapid fluctuations in the market as traders react to the unfolding action. Any significant external factors affecting the teams' preparation or performance could also be catalysts.
