Description

This event tracks Bitcoin's price at a specific future moment, using a standardized index to determine the outcome. The resolution depends on where the price falls within predefined ranges at the exact closing time.

Kalshi

The event resolves based on the simple average of the sixty seconds of CF Benchmarks' Bitcoin Real-Time Index (BRTI) immediately before 5 PM EDT on October 20, 2026. Each market corresponds to a specific price range, and the market resolving to 'Yes' is the one where the calculated average falls within that range. If the average is below $72,749.99, the first market resolves to 'Yes.' If it is above $92,249.99, the last market resolves to 'Yes.' For all other values, the market corresponding to the exact range into which the average falls will resolve to 'Yes,' with all others resolving to 'No.' The official price is determined by averaging the BRTI prices collected in the final minute before expiration, ensuring consistency despite variations across other data sources.
