This market will resolve to "Up" if the AMZN/USDT price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than the price at the beginning of that range. It will resolve to "Down" if the AMZN/USDT price at the end of the time range is lower than the price at the beginning of that range. If the two prices are exactly equal, the market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is Chainlink, specifically the AMZN/USDT data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/amzn-usdt-markpriceindex-datalink?timeframe=1d&chart=candlestick To verify the final price, use the close price of the 5m candlestick just before the market's end time. For example, for a market running from 1:00 to 1:15 PM ET, use the close price of the 1:10 PM candlestick as the final price. The resolution source uses the index price (field i) from Binance's USDS-Margined Futures Mark Price Stream for All Markets (!markPrice@arr), denominated in the quote currency. This market is based solely on the price reported by the Chainlink AMZN/USDT data stream, not on other sources or futures markets. If Chainlink data is unavailable or otherwise unusable for resolution, the market will resolve based on a consensus of reliable sources. 2026-10-21T16:45:00Z

Currently, prediction market odds often reflect a different perspective than traditional analyst forecasts. While analysts may provide price targets and ratings based on fundamental and technical analysis, this market represents the collective wisdom of traders betting with real capital. Discrepancies can arise due to differing interpretations of information, risk tolerance, or the inclusion of non-public information. It’s common to see this market react more quickly to news events than analyst ratings, as traders can instantly adjust their positions.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether the Amazon stock will close up or down during the specified timeframe. The price of these contracts reflects the probability of each outcome, with higher prices indicating greater confidence in that outcome. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market price dynamically adjusts based on supply and demand, offering a real-time assessment of expectations.
This market resolves around Oct 21, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the closing price of Amazon stock between 12:45 PM and 1:00 PM ET on October 21st will determine whether the market settles in favor of 'Up' or 'Down'. The final price will be sourced from a reputable financial data provider and will be publicly available shortly after the close of trading during that period.
Several factors could significantly influence this market before its resolution. Unexpected earnings reports, major announcements regarding Amazon’s business strategy, or broader economic news impacting the tech sector could all cause shifts in trader sentiment. Additionally, significant movements in overall market indices, such as the Nasdaq, or changes in interest rates could affect the Amazon stock price. Any unforeseen events impacting consumer confidence or supply chain disruptions could also play a role in moving this market.
