This market will resolve to "Up" if the GOOGL/USDT price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than the price at the beginning of that range. It will resolve to "Down" if the GOOGL/USDT price at the end of the time range is lower than the price at the beginning of that range. If the two prices are exactly equal, the market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is Chainlink, specifically the GOOGL/USDT data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/googl-usdt-markpriceindex-datalink?timeframe=1d&chart=candlestick To verify the final price, use the close price of the 5m candlestick just before the market's end time. For example, for a market running from 1:00 to 1:15 PM ET, use the close price of the 1:10 PM candlestick as the final price. The resolution source uses the index price (field i) from Binance's USDS-Margined Futures Mark Price Stream for All Markets (!markPrice@arr), denominated in the quote currency. This market is based solely on the price reported by the Chainlink GOOGL/USDT data stream, not on other sources or futures markets. If Chainlink data is unavailable or otherwise unusable for resolution, the market will resolve based on a consensus of reliable sources. 2026-10-26T14:45:00Z

Currently, prediction market odds often reflect a different perspective than traditional analyst forecasts. While analysts may issue buy or sell recommendations based on fundamental and technical analysis, this market represents the collective wisdom of traders who are putting their capital at risk. Discrepancies can arise due to differing time horizons, risk appetites, or access to information. It’s common to see prediction markets react more quickly to new information and incorporate a wider range of factors than traditional forecasts, potentially offering a more real-time assessment of expectations.
On Predict, this market is priced using a continuous double auction, meaning traders can buy and sell contracts at any time, setting their own prices. The price of a contract reflects the probability of the corresponding outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the price converges towards a fair value that represents the collective belief of the market. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price indicates what traders are willing to pay for exposure to the potential movement of Alphabet’s stock, and it’s constantly updated based on supply and demand.
This market resolves around Oct 26, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the resolution will be based on whether the Alphabet (GOOGL) stock price closes higher or lower than its opening price on October 26th, between 10:45 AM and 11:00 AM Eastern Time. The closing price will be sourced from a major financial exchange and will serve as the definitive data point for determining the winning outcome in this market.
Several factors could significantly influence this market before Oct 26, 2026. Major news events related to Alphabet, such as earnings reports, product announcements, or regulatory decisions, are likely to cause price fluctuations. Broader market trends, including overall economic data releases and shifts in investor sentiment, could also play a role. Unexpected geopolitical events or significant changes in the technology sector could further impact the stock price and, consequently, the trading activity within this market. Any news that alters perceptions of Alphabet’s future performance could drive substantial movement.
