This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the XRP/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the XRP/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/XRP_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance XRP/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, XRP Up or Down - May 31, 9AM ET is priced as a binary contract where each outcome—up or down—trades as a separate share. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders buy and sell shares at prices between 0 and 1 (or 0–100 cents), with the implied probability derived from the current market price. Higher prices reflect stronger conviction in that outcome. Liquidity and order-book depth on Polymarket determine how easily you can enter or exit positions, and prices shift in real time as new trades execute. The market resolves based on XRP's price movement relative to the specified reference point at the exact resolution timestamp.
The XRP Up or Down - May 31, 9AM ET market resolves on May 31, 2026. The outcome is determined by XRP's price direction at the specified time and reference point. Once the resolution window closes, the winning outcome is confirmed and traders' positions settle according to the market's rules. Until that moment, odds will continue to shift based on price action, news, regulatory developments, and trader positioning. Monitoring the countdown and any late-breaking catalysts in the final hours can help you time your trades or hedge your exposure before the market locks.
XRP's directional move by May 31 could be driven by regulatory announcements affecting Ripple or crypto broadly, Bitcoin and Ethereum price momentum, macroeconomic data, and on-chain activity. Major developments in SEC litigation or clarity on XRP's legal status often trigger sharp moves. Broader crypto sentiment shifts, Fed policy signals, and institutional adoption news can also sway the market. Technical levels and support/resistance zones may attract algorithmic traders. Watch for exchange listings, partnership announcements, and network upgrades. Real-time monitoring of news flow, social sentiment, and order-book positioning on Polymarket will help you anticipate directional shifts before they fully price in.
