This market will resolve to "Up" if the XRP price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than or equal to the price at the beginning of that range. Otherwise, it will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Chainlink, specifically the XRP/USD data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/xrp-usd. Please note that this market is about the price according to Chainlink data stream XRP/USD, not according to other sources or spot markets.
On Polymarket, this event is priced as a binary outcome contract where traders buy and sell shares representing either XRP Up or XRP Down during the May 31st, 8:00PM–12:00AM ET window. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current odds reflect the aggregate demand for each outcome, with prices ranging from 0 to 1 (or 0% to 100%). Traders profit when their chosen outcome resolves correctly. Liquidity and trading volume on Polymarket determine how easily you can enter or exit positions at competitive prices around the market's current probability estimate.
The market resolves at Jun 1, 2026 ET, marking the end of the four-hour observation window. Resolution is determined by XRP's price movement during the May 31st, 8:00PM–12:00AM ET period. Traders who correctly predicted the direction of price action receive their payout, while those on the losing side forfeit their stake. The outcome is binary—either XRP moves up or it moves down—with no partial payouts or draws. Precision timing and accurate price data are critical to fair settlement.
Several catalysts could influence XRP's direction during that window. Regulatory announcements affecting Ripple or crypto broadly, major macroeconomic data releases, Bitcoin or Ethereum price swings, and shifts in institutional sentiment can all trigger volatility. Technical levels and support/resistance zones may also guide intraday movement. News about Ripple's partnerships, SEC developments, or broader fintech adoption could create directional bias. Market-wide risk-on or risk-off sentiment during that specific evening window will likely be the dominant driver. Monitoring crypto news feeds and macro calendars leading up to May 31st is essential for informed trading.
