This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the XRP/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the XRP/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/XRP_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance XRP/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, XRP Up or Down - June 9, 9PM ET is priced as a binary contract where traders buy or sell shares representing each outcome. The market price of each share reflects the probability traders assign to that outcome, ranging from 0 to 100 cents. Liquidity pools or order books determine the exact price you receive when trading. As new information emerges—regulatory news, technical breakouts, or macroeconomic shifts—traders adjust positions, moving prices to reflect updated expectations. Volume and bid-ask spreads indicate market confidence and ease of entry or exit.
XRP price action through June 9 could be driven by regulatory announcements affecting Ripple or the broader crypto sector, macroeconomic data impacting risk appetite, Bitcoin or Ethereum momentum setting the tone for altcoins, and technical breakouts above or below key support and resistance levels. On-chain metrics such as exchange inflows, whale transactions, and network activity may signal accumulation or distribution. Partnership news, SEC developments, or shifts in institutional adoption could trigger sharp moves. Market-wide volatility spikes, stablecoin flows, and correlation with traditional markets also influence XRP's directional bias heading into the resolution window.
