This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the XRP/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the XRP/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/XRP_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance XRP/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. XRP Up or Down - June 8, 7PM ET on Polymarket uses an automated market maker model where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. The price of each share reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring by the resolution deadline. As traders place orders, the price adjusts dynamically based on supply and demand. The current odds and share prices are displayed in real time, allowing participants to enter or exit positions at transparent, market-determined rates throughout the trading period.
XRP price direction by June 8, 7PM ET could be influenced by regulatory announcements affecting Ripple or cryptocurrency broadly, macroeconomic data releases, Bitcoin or Ethereum price movements, and shifts in broader crypto market sentiment. On-chain metrics such as large transaction volumes or exchange inflows may signal institutional activity. Ripple company news, partnership announcements, or developments in ongoing legal matters could also impact XRP's trajectory. Traders monitoring these catalysts can adjust positions as new information emerges closer to the resolution deadline.
