This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the XRP/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the XRP/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/XRP_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance XRP/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, XRP Up or Down - June 7, 8PM ET is priced as a binary contract where traders buy or sell shares representing each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current odds reflect the ratio of capital allocated to each side. Prices move continuously as new orders flow in, with the implied probability shown as a percentage. Traders profit if their chosen outcome resolves true at the June 7, 8PM ET timestamp. Polymarket uses an automated market maker model, so prices adjust dynamically based on order flow and liquidity depth, allowing real-time discovery of what the market believes will happen to XRP.
The market resolves on Jun 8, 2026. Resolution is determined by XRP's price movement relative to a reference point at the specified June 7, 8PM ET timestamp. The exact criteria—whether the outcome is based on a price snapshot, a specific exchange, or a data feed—are defined in the market's terms. Once the resolution time passes, the outcome is finalized and traders' positions settle according to which side was correct. Early resolution is possible only if the event organizer explicitly triggers it before the scheduled end date.
Several catalysts could shift XRP's price direction before June 7, 8PM ET. Regulatory announcements—especially from the SEC or international bodies—often trigger sharp moves in XRP sentiment. Major exchange listings or delistings can affect liquidity and trading volume. Broader crypto market swings, Bitcoin price action, and macroeconomic news also influence altcoin direction. Ripple company developments, partnership announcements, or technical upgrades to the XRP Ledger may attract or repel traders. On-chain metrics like whale transactions and exchange inflows can signal accumulation or distribution pressure. Monitoring these signals helps traders anticipate which way the market might lean as the resolution date approaches.
