This market will resolve to "Up" if the XRP price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than or equal to the price at the beginning of that range. Otherwise, it will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Chainlink, specifically the XRP/USD data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/xrp-usd. Please note that this market is about the price according to Chainlink data stream XRP/USD, not according to other sources or spot markets.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, this event is priced as a binary contract where traders buy or sell shares representing each outcome. The price of each share reflects the market's probability estimate; a higher price means the crowd assigns greater likelihood to that outcome. Traders profit by buying low and selling high, or by holding until resolution. Polymarket's automated market maker model ensures continuous liquidity, allowing you to enter or exit positions throughout the event window. The final settlement price at Jun 7, 2026 determines payouts based on whether XRP moved up or down during the specified four-hour period.
The market resolves at Jun 7, 2026, marking the end of the four-hour observation window on June 7. Resolution hinges on XRP's price movement during 8:00AM–12:00PM ET—specifically whether the closing price at noon ET is higher or lower than the opening price at 8:00AM ET. This binary structure eliminates ambiguity; there is no draw or partial settlement. Once the window closes, the outcome is determined by reference data, and traders' positions settle according to which outcome occurred. Early resolution is not possible; the full four-hour period must elapse.
XRP's direction during that June 7 morning window could be influenced by regulatory announcements affecting Ripple or the broader crypto sector, macroeconomic data releases, Bitcoin or Ethereum volatility, and on-chain activity. Geopolitical or financial news breaking before 8:00AM ET may set the tone for the session. Technical levels and support/resistance zones matter; if XRP approaches a key threshold, traders may defend or break it. Social media sentiment, exchange inflows or outflows, and derivative market positioning can also drive short-term momentum. Monitoring news feeds and order-book depth on major exchanges in the hours before the window opens is essential for anticipating directional bias.
