This market will resolve to "Up" if the XRP price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than or equal to the price at the beginning of that range. Otherwise, it will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Chainlink, specifically the XRP/USD data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/xrp-usd. Please note that this market is about the price according to Chainlink data stream XRP/USD, not according to other sources or spot markets.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, this event is priced as a binary contract where traders buy and sell shares representing either the up or down outcome. The current odds reflect the proportion of capital allocated to each side. Prices range from 0 to 1, with higher prices indicating stronger market belief in that outcome. Traders profit by buying low and selling high, or by holding until resolution. Polymarket uses an automated market maker model, so prices adjust continuously as new trades flow in, ensuring the market remains liquid and responsive to new information about XRP's expected movement.
The market resolves at Jun 7, 2026. The outcome is determined by whether XRP's price moves up or down during the specified four-hour trading window on June 6, from 8:00PM to 12:00AM ET. Resolution depends on comparing XRP's price at the start of the window to its price at the close, using a predetermined reference source. Once the window closes and the final price is confirmed, the market settles automatically, and traders receive payouts based on which outcome occurred and their position size.
Several catalysts could influence XRP's direction during this window. Regulatory announcements regarding cryptocurrency or Ripple specifically could trigger sharp moves. Broader Bitcoin or Ethereum price action often drives altcoin sentiment, including XRP. Macroeconomic data releases, Federal Reserve communications, or stock market volatility can shift risk appetite and crypto demand. On-chain activity, exchange inflows or outflows, and social media sentiment spikes may also matter. Technical levels and resistance zones will guide short-term traders. Any major news about Ripple's partnerships, legal developments, or market-moving tweets could compress or expand the probability of either outcome in the final hours before resolution.
