This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the XRP/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the XRP/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/XRP_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance XRP/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, XRP Up or Down - June 4, 2AM ET is priced as a binary contract where each outcome (Up or Down) trades as a separate share. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current odds reflect the ratio of buy and sell orders in the order book, with prices ranging from 0 to 1 (or 0% to 100%). Traders profit by buying low and selling high, or by correctly predicting the outcome at resolution. Polymarket's automated market maker adjusts prices dynamically based on trade flow, ensuring continuous liquidity for both directions throughout the event window.
The market resolves at Jun 4, 2026. Resolution is determined by XRP's price direction at that exact moment, measured against a reference baseline established at market creation. The outcome is binary: either XRP moves up or it moves down. Traders holding the winning outcome receive their payout, while losing shares expire worthless. The resolution process is automated and final once the snapshot is taken at the specified time.
XRP's direction by June 4, 2AM ET could be influenced by regulatory announcements affecting Ripple or the broader crypto sector, macroeconomic shifts in risk appetite, Bitcoin or Ethereum price movements, and on-chain transaction volume. SEC developments, banking partnerships, or stablecoin adoption news may drive sentiment. Technical levels and support or resistance zones will also guide short-term price action. Market-wide volatility spikes, Fed policy signals, or geopolitical events can shift the entire crypto complex, including XRP. Monitor social sentiment and derivatives funding rates for clues about trader positioning.
