This market will resolve to "Up" if the XRP price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than or equal to the price at the beginning of that range. Otherwise, it will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Chainlink, specifically the XRP/USD data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/xrp-usd. Please note that this market is about the price according to Chainlink data stream XRP/USD, not according to other sources or spot markets.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, the XRP Up or Down event is priced as a binary outcome contract where traders buy and sell shares representing either an upward or downward price movement during the June 3rd, 4:00AM–8:00AM ET window. The current odds reflect the collective belief of market participants, with prices ranging between zero and one dollar per share. As traders place orders, the price adjusts in real time based on supply and demand. The market's depth and liquidity on Polymarket determine how quickly large trades can execute and influence the overall probability displayed to participants.
The market resolves on Jun 3, 2026 following the close of the four-hour trading window on June 3rd. Resolution occurs after the specified time period ends and XRP's price movement during that window is confirmed. The outcome is determined by comparing XRP's price at the start of the 4:00AM ET window to its price at 8:00AM ET. Traders who correctly predicted the direction of movement receive payouts, while those on the losing side forfeit their position value. The resolution process typically completes within hours of market close.
Several catalysts could influence XRP's direction during the June 3rd window. Regulatory announcements regarding cryptocurrency or Ripple specifically may trigger sharp moves. Macroeconomic data releases, Federal Reserve communications, or broader crypto market sentiment shifts could drive volatility. On-chain activity, such as large XRP transfers or exchange flows, may signal institutional positioning. Bitcoin and Ethereum price action often sets the tone for altcoins like XRP, so movements in major cryptocurrencies warrant close attention. Additionally, any Ripple company news, partnership announcements, or legal developments could impact trader expectations and shift market odds significantly.
