This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the XRP/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the XRP/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/XRP_USDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance XRP/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
Prediction market odds reflect trader consensus on XRP's directional move by June 2, 5PM ET, while spot price expectations derive from technical analysis, on-chain metrics, and analyst forecasts. Prediction markets aggregate real-money bets, making them a forward-looking gauge of crowd conviction. Spot price sentiment may lag or diverge from market odds if traders on Polymarket have access to information not yet priced into XRP's current exchange rate. Comparing the two reveals whether prediction markets are pricing in moves that traditional price analysis has not yet captured.

Key catalysts for XRP price movement include regulatory announcements affecting Ripple or crypto broadly, Bitcoin and Ethereum volatility that typically correlates with altcoins, macroeconomic data impacting risk appetite, and XRP-specific news such as partnerships or technical developments. On-chain metrics like whale transactions and exchange inflows can signal buying or selling pressure. Market sentiment shifts driven by Fed policy, inflation data, or geopolitical events may also influence XRP's direction. Traders monitor these signals to adjust positions ahead of the June 2, 5PM ET deadline.
