This market will resolve to "Up" if the XRP price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than or equal to the price at the beginning of that range. Otherwise, it will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Chainlink, specifically the XRP/USD data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/xrp-usd. Please note that this market is about the price according to Chainlink data stream XRP/USD, not according to other sources or spot markets.
On Polymarket, XRP Up or Down - June 1, 8:00PM-12:00AM ET is priced as a binary outcome contract where traders buy and sell shares representing each direction. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current odds reflect the ratio of capital allocated to each side, with the price of an up-outcome share directly corresponding to the market's probability estimate. Traders profit if their chosen direction occurs during the specified four-hour window. Polymarket's automated market maker adjusts prices continuously based on order flow, so the odds you see represent the marginal trader's valuation at that moment. As new information emerges or the event window approaches, prices shift to reflect updated expectations about XRP's movement.
The market resolves at Jun 2, 2026, after the four-hour trading window closes at 12:00AM ET on June 2. Resolution determines whether XRP moved up or down from its opening price at 8:00PM ET on June 1. The outcome is binary: either the closing price exceeds the opening price, or it does not. Once the window closes, the market settles based on the verified price data, and winning shares are redeemed at full value while losing shares expire worthless. Traders should monitor XRP's price action throughout the entire four-hour window, as even small movements near the close can determine the final outcome and decide which side of the market profits.
Several catalysts could influence XRP's direction during the June 1 window. Regulatory announcements regarding Ripple or cryptocurrency policy could trigger sharp moves, as XRP is sensitive to legal developments. Broader crypto market sentiment, Bitcoin price action, and macroeconomic news released during the four-hour window will likely drive volatility. Technical levels and support or resistance zones matter significantly in short-term price action. Major exchange listings, partnership announcements, or on-chain activity spikes could also shift momentum. Traders should monitor social media, news feeds, and XRP's correlation with Bitcoin closely as the event approaches, since unexpected developments in the final hours before or during the window can rapidly swing the outcome either direction.
