The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance XRP/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.

Prediction market odds often diverge from spot price momentum because they embed forward-looking sentiment rather than just recent price action. While a spot exchange shows XRP's current price, this market aggregates trader beliefs about directional movement over a specific window. Prediction markets tend to reflect tail risks and event catalysts that spot prices may not yet fully price in. Comparing the two reveals whether the crowd expects mean reversion, continuation, or volatility—insights that spot data alone cannot provide.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker pool. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each share represents a claim on one outcome, and the ratio of shares in the pool determines the odds displayed to new traders. As more capital flows into one side, the price adjusts to reflect the shifting probability. This mechanism ensures continuous pricing and allows participants to enter or exit positions at transparent, real-time rates throughout the market's lifetime.
This market resolves around Jul 2, 2026, at which point the outcome is confirmed once XRP's price movement is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result hinges on whether XRP's price at that moment is higher or lower than its level at the market's open. Resolution is binary: there is no draw or partial settlement. Once the event passes and data is finalized, the winning outcome is paid out in full and the losing side receives nothing.
Major regulatory announcements, SEC decisions, or macroeconomic shifts affecting crypto broadly can swing XRP sentiment sharply. Technical levels and support or resistance zones may trigger algorithmic trading or retail positioning changes. Partnership news, network upgrades, or developments in Ripple's business could also influence trader conviction. Broader Bitcoin or Ethereum moves often drag altcoins along, so monitoring the largest cryptocurrencies is essential. Unexpected volatility spikes or liquidity events on spot exchanges can ripple into prediction market pricing within minutes.
