This market will resolve to "Up" if the XRP price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than or equal to the price at the beginning of that range. Otherwise, it will resolve to "Down".
The resolution source for this market is information from Chainlink, specifically the XRP/USD data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/xrp-usd.
Please note that this market is about the price according to Chainlink data stream XRP/USD, not according to other sources or spot markets.
Two independent resolution methodologies: Kalshi uses CF Benchmarks XRPUSD_RTI at a single point in time (5 PM EDT), while Polymarket uses Chainlink XRP/USD to measure price change over a 4-hour window (4 PM–8 PM ET). Data sources, measurement windows, and resolution logic differ materially.
Hero Tip:
Do not assume these markets are equivalent. Kalshi's 40 markets are threshold-based snapshots at 5 PM EDT; Polymarket is a directional change over 4 hours. If CF Benchmarks and Chainlink diverge on XRP price, or if volatility is high between 5 PM and 8 PM, outcomes may conflict. Choose your platform based on which data source and methodology you trust.
Critical Divergence Points:
Kalshi: 40 separate binary markets, each resolving Yes if the 60-second average of CF Benchmarks XRPUSD_RTI before 5 PM EDT exceeds a specific threshold (ranging from 0.9999 to 1.7799) at exactly 5 PM EDT on April 26, 2026. No explicit No condition; resolution depends on whether the threshold is breached. Data source: CF Benchmarks Ripple-Dollar Real Time Index (XRPUSD_RTI). Measurement: Single snapshot at 5 PM EDT.
Polymarket: Single binary market comparing XRP/USD price at 8:00 PM ET to price at 4:00 PM ET. Resolves Up if end price >= start price; otherwise Down. Data source: Chainlink XRP/USD data stream (https://data.chain.link/streams/xrp-usd). Measurement: Price change over 4-hour window.
