This market tracks how much support Eric Barlow garners in the Wyoming Republican gubernatorial primary. It focuses on whether his vote share reaches various thresholds, reflecting his electoral performance against other candidates. The outcome depends solely on the officially certified results.
These markets resolve based on the certified percentage of the popular vote Eric Barlow receives in the Wyoming Republican gubernatorial primary. For each market, a specific threshold (ranging from 30% to 60%) must be met or exceeded for the outcome to be 'Yes.' The vote percentage is calculated by dividing the total valid votes cast for Eric Barlow by the total number of valid votes cast in the election, multiplied by 100, and rounded to the specified decimal places. Only certified or official results are considered; preliminary results, write-in votes (if included in certified results), and invalid or spoiled ballots are accounted for as specified. If the election is canceled, postponed beyond the market expiration, or no certified results are available by the expiration date, the market resolves to 'No.' Additionally, if a recount alters the certified percentage before the market expires, the most recent certified percentage determines the resolution. Multiple voting rounds, such as those in ranked-choice voting systems, are handled by using the specified round or the first round if not indicated.
This market resolves around Aug 18, 2027, with the outcome confirmed once the vote percentages are verifiable from credible public reporting. The final result will be based on official Wyoming Republican Party tallies, and the market will settle accordingly based on those verified numbers.
Debate performances, endorsements, fundraising updates, and polling shifts can all influence this market. Controversies or missteps by candidates often cause rapid price adjustments. As Aug 18, 2027 approaches, final voter registration numbers and early voting trends may also drive volatility, with traders reacting to any data that changes expectations for the final vote distribution.
