As of market creation, WD-40 is estimated to release earnings on July 9, 2026. The Street consensus estimate for WD-40's GAAP EPS for the relevant quarter is $1.57 as of market creation. This market will resolve to "Yes" if WD-40 reports GAAP EPS greater than $1.57 for the relevant quarter in its next quarterly earnings release. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No." The resolution source will be the GAAP EPS listed in the company’s official earnings documents. If WD-40 releases earnings without GAAP EPS, then the market will resolve according to the GAAP EPS figure reported by SeekingAlpha. If no such figure is published within 96h of market close (4:00:00pm ET) on the day earnings are announced, the market will resolve to “No”. If the company does not release earnings within 45 calendar days of the estimated earnings date, this market will resolve to “No.” Note: Subsequent restatements, corrections, or revisions made to the initially announced GAAP EPS figure will not qualify for resolution, except in the case of obvious and immediate mistakes (e.g., fat finger errors, as with Lyft's (LYFT) earnings release in February 2024). Note: The strike prices used in these markets are derived from SeekingAlpha estimates, and reflect the consensus of sell-side analyst estimates for GAAP EPS. Note: All figures will be rounded to the nearest cent using standard rounding. Note: For the purposes of this market, IFRS EPS will be treated as GAAP EPS. Note: For the purposes of this market, GAAP EPS refers to diluted GAAP EPS, unless this is not published, in which case it refers to basic GAAP EPS. Note: All figures are expressed in USD, unless otherwise indicated. Note: For primarily internationally listed companies, this market refers specifically to the shares traded in the United States on U.S. stock exchanges such as the NYSE or Nasdaq. In cases where the company trades in the U.S. through an American Depositary Receipt (ADR) or American Depositary Share (ADS), this market will refer to the ADR/ADS.

Prediction market odds and traditional analyst forecasts often diverge because they reflect different methodologies. Analysts typically issue point estimates or ranges based on company guidance, historical trends, and sector models, while prediction markets aggregate real-time beliefs from traders with financial incentives to be accurate. This market incorporates forward-looking sentiment that may price in recent developments, management commentary, or macroeconomic shifts faster than consensus revisions. Comparing the two can reveal whether traders expect a surprise relative to published expectations, making this a useful cross-check for investors evaluating earnings risk.
On Polymarket, traders buy and sell shares representing yes or no outcomes, with the share price directly reflecting the probability of an earnings beat. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy yes shares, the price rises, signaling increased confidence in a beat; conversely, selling pressure lowers the price. The market operates continuously until resolution, allowing you to enter or exit positions at any time. Liquidity and trading volume influence how easily you can execute trades at posted prices, so monitoring recent activity helps you understand current market depth.
This market resolves around Jul 9, 2026, once WD-40's quarterly earnings results are publicly announced and verified. The outcome is determined by whether reported earnings per share or net income exceed the consensus estimate that was in effect at the time the market was created. Resolution hinges on credible public reporting from the company's official earnings release and financial statements. Once the data is confirmed and unambiguous, the market settles automatically, paying out holders of the correct outcome.
Several catalysts can shift odds before resolution. Unexpected macroeconomic data, changes in consumer demand, or supply chain disruptions affecting WD-40's operations could reshape trader expectations. Management guidance updates, analyst downgrades or upgrades, and competitor earnings surprises in related sectors may also influence sentiment. Seasonal trends in industrial and consumer products, currency fluctuations, and broader market volatility can ripple through this market. As the earnings date approaches, pre-announcement leaks, insider commentary, or revised analyst consensus will likely drive final price adjustments.
