Frequently asked questions

The USD/ILS exchange rate market dashboard on Limitless tracks real-time odds and historical price movements for this prediction market. Traders monitor the implied probability that the US dollar will trade above a specified level against the Israeli shekel at the exact settlement time. The interface displays current market pricing, 24-hour volume activity, and order-book depth, allowing participants to assess liquidity and consensus sentiment around the dollar's strength relative to the shekel on the target date.

Prediction market odds reflect real-money commitments from traders and often diverge from traditional analyst forecasts because they incorporate live market sentiment and breaking news. While financial analysts publish point estimates and ranges based on macroeconomic models, this market aggregates the collective judgment of participants who have direct financial incentive to forecast accurately. Comparing the implied probability here to consensus economist views on USD/ILS can reveal whether traders are pricing in more hawkish or dovish scenarios than the mainstream consensus.

On Limitless, this market is priced through an automated market maker or order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing "yes" or "no" outcomes. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective willingness of participants to bet on whether the USD/ILS rate will exceed the threshold at the specified time. As new information emerges—central bank decisions, inflation data, or geopolitical developments—traders adjust their positions, moving the market price in real time.

This market resolves around Jun 19, 2026, at which point the outcome is confirmed by comparing the USD/ILS exchange rate to the specified threshold. The result is verified against credible public sources reporting the official rate at the settlement time. Once the rate is established and the outcome is clear, the market closes and traders receive payouts based on their positions.

Major catalysts for this market include US Federal Reserve and Bank of Israel policy announcements, inflation and employment data releases, and geopolitical developments affecting Middle Eastern stability or US–Israel relations. Currency markets are also sensitive to global risk sentiment, oil price shocks, and broader dollar strength trends. Unexpected economic data, central bank communications, or regional tensions could trigger sharp repricing as traders reassess the probability of the USD/ILS rate crossing the threshold by the settlement date.
