If global FX markets are closed at the specified time (e.g., due to a weekend or major global holiday), the market resolves based on the most recent prior 1-hour "Close" published before the closure.

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst forecasts because they reflect real-money incentives and crowd wisdom rather than individual expert opinion. Traders in this market are betting their capital on where USD/ILS will settle, which can reveal information not yet reflected in published analyst reports. Comparing the implied probability here to consensus forecasts from major financial institutions or currency strategists can highlight where the market sees upside or downside risk. Such gaps sometimes persist due to different time horizons, data access, or risk appetite among market participants versus institutional analysts.
On Limitless, this market is priced through an automated market maker or order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective assessment of all active traders, with bid-ask spreads tightening as volume increases. Participants can enter or exit positions at any time before the market closes, and the final price just before resolution typically converges toward the true outcome probability. Liquidity and trading activity directly influence how efficiently prices adjust to new information about currency movements.
This market resolves around Jul 3, 2026, at which point the USD/ILS exchange rate will be verified against credible public sources to determine whether it closed above the specified threshold. The outcome is binary: either the rate meets or exceeds the target level, or it does not. Once the event is confirmed and verifiable from reliable financial data providers, the market settles and traders receive payouts based on their positions. All participants are notified of the final result, and any remaining open orders are automatically closed.
Major catalysts for USD/ILS include monetary policy decisions from the US Federal Reserve and the Bank of Israel, inflation data releases, geopolitical developments affecting the Middle East, and broader dollar strength or weakness. Interest rate differentials between the two economies directly influence currency valuations, so any surprise in economic data can shift trader positioning. Central bank communications, trade tensions, and regional security events can also trigger sharp repricing. Traders monitor these signals continuously, adjusting their bets as new information emerges and the resolution date approaches.
